This Power Mac has been discontinued on October 19, 2005. The new Power Mac features a Dual 2 GHz / Dual 2.3 GHz or 2.7 GHz PowerPC 970fx G5 processor, 512 MB of RAM, 160 GB or 250 GB hard drive, 16x DVD-R/CD-RW “SuperDrive” and 128 MB ATI Radeon 9600 graphics in the base model. The computer has been introduced on April 27, 2005, and its price started at $1999. The Apple Power Mac G5 Early 2005 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple in 2005 as part of the Power Mac G5 series of Power Macintosh computers.
